WOW!... how beautifully inspiring, I found these images via Vintage Girl, and was instantly mesmerised...by the possibilities... To think that such beauty does exist, this is every designers dream, how much fun would it be, such an adventure, and a gorgeous place to be inspired in.
I just discovered you blog & loved it. I'm an interior designer from Melbourne, Australia & I found it very inspiring. Blogging is all new to me but I have just set up my own blog scrapbook-melissah.blogspot.com You may like to check it out because I had so much fun doing it. It's got a bit of everything fashion, interiors, food, travel spots - hopefully you will find something in there that you like. Thanks for providing me with such great entertainment! Cheers Melissah
The house is called "Serendipity" and was only built in the 80's I think. Hooked on Houses might have some more info on this house. It was recently sold to be relocated. Apparently it was moved for the movie above as well. The blue room is my favorite.
Wow thought I recognised that house, it's the one from the movie 'Nights in Rodanthe' with Richard Gere and Diane Lane. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't put much in it....looks like it will be in the ocean in a few years time! It looks amazing though. Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteStunning beach home. It has a certain 'wildness' about it.
ReplyDeleteI have given you an award please pop over to have a look.

That house is gorgeous and Yes I definitely think it was in a relatively recent movie.

ReplyDeleteIt calls for a white interior don't you think - white washed wood, bare floors, white linens - it is a mesmerizing pic isn't it? Jane:)
