AMAZING!

Happy Monday everyone...thought I would show you what I believe to be the gates to heaven...and what Beautiful gates they are...To be here would be pure bliss!  In other news my precious daughter had x-rays to reveal she did infact break her wrist while away on camp...teachers believed it to be sprained so allowed her to continue with various activities like canoeing etc...picked her up Friday night only to see that she had no support on her wrist...teachers had removed it as it had belonged to the school???{unbelievable I know!} and was also astonished to know that my child was somewhere where there were no workable telephones {and with all of today's technology} very disappointing to know that this was not a great concern to them...100 or so school children taken far into the mountains participating in a whole range of first time adventurous experiences and with no access to outside help...AMAZING! and my child was not the only child injured, another child was taken to hospital after falling from the mountain bikes and others also fell and injured themselves[it was like a war zone}...You know what annoys me the most...it's the fact that I spent so much time trying to protect my children keeping a watchful eye on them and then you give them to someone who says they will look after them and then the second you take your eyes off them ,the second you let your guard down and trust someone else's ability to care for them something happens...these teachers have a duty of care and I think on this occasion they were not careful enough... anyway I could go on forever but I'd much rather focus my energies now on the beautiful things in life...and that view above is stunning! JUST SAYING!

Do you ever have one of those days where you really believe the universe is throwing everything it's got at you? Where you're sure there's meant to be a teaching moment in it but for the life of you ...you just can't find it...It all started with the dreaded school camp...something that always makes me uneasy...but hey they tell you "believe me this is going to make you stronger"so each and every year I nervously send my children away on a learning experience to participate in a range of first time experiences without the watchful eye that only I can have ...let me tell you it didn't make me stronger to receive a call stating that my daughter had come off a bmx bike while riding down a hill and has what they believe a sprained wrist [she can barely ride a real bike on flat ground] and I received this call at 9:45pm... questionable time one would say!.. and then I was unable to call back due to poor reception from them being so far into the mountains...also questionable!... so I lay in bed unable to help my child and still have to wait till tonight before I can assess her injuries ...I still can't fathom why teachers feel the need to take our children away each and every year to far off lands and encourage them to participate in activities where there can be a chance of a worst case scenario...mine being a sprained wrist "just saying!" anyway this then triggered a string of universal catastrophes{of course}...many too long to explain but one resulting in my 6 year old entering class still wearing his dripping raincoat and me not even noticing why he looked so bewildered [well I'm embarrassed!]  I know it could be worse and I'm thankful that it isn't but sometimes you just have to question the universe's motives...Anyway I suddenly feel so much better having vented my feelings and am ready for whatever else the universe wants to throw at me...bring it on! Thanks for listening have a lovely weekend xx

MY GREATEST LOVE!

Be still my Beating Heart!!! I so had to show you all this incredibly Beautiful kitchen...it so had me at the cabinets...Wow breathtaking! I love the contrast of the black and white and the craftsmanship of that cabinet is sublime is it not? ahh... words cannot convey my appreciation of the Beauty that is this kitchen...I think I may be in Love...again!  [ how about those lights and those floors... although it really is all about the cabinet for me...so Beautiful. THE MIRROR EFFECT...

Thought I would share with you some gorgeous kitchens today and ask your opinion on mirrored splashbacks...as I am seriously loving them right now...

do you consider them practical? or does beauty win over the voice of practicality they definitely have a wow factor and that's what I love!

when I see such beauty as I do in this gorgeous kitchen by the very talented Designer Bree Oliver [from the beautiful blog" A Paddington Perspectivehttp://apaddingtonperspective.blogspot.com" I think I fall more in love with the idea of having a mirrored splashback...

they definitely add style and glamour to any kitchen...

or do you prefer the coloured glass splashback? for which I love as well and is a much safer choice as it hides more sins and is equally as Beautiful if chosen in the right colour? AHHH...BEAUTIFUL HOUSE

Isn't it an amazing feeling when something inspires you...something as simple as a Beautiful interior of a home...and this one certainly is Beautiful...Just wanted to share with you all another treasure that I have stumbled upon...that has inspired me ...If you are like me and love a black and white monochromatic colour scheme then you are seriously going to love this!

Exquisite...and I mean Exquisite ebonised blackbutt floors that contrast beautifully with the gorgeous crisp white walls to enhance the most Beautiful use of architecture...

A Divine crystal chandelier that throws off the most beautiful hue to create a sense of elegance...and a stunning glass staircase that leaves me breathless...not to mention the fireplace in all it's glory...

and then there's what can only be described as a Heavenly kitchen...

one that I would happily linger in...

the use of colour is sensational...one would say Perfection has been achieved...

love that wall and the cushions are divine!

FRENCH PARADISE...

Just thought I'd show you this gorgeous French Provincial conversion of a terrace house...I so fell in Love the very instant I saw this beautiful garden...

and then I stepped inside and fell in Love some more...

it seems the home was inspired by the owners time living in France...

this divine kitchen is where my heart skipped a beat...just breathtaking!

be still my beating heart...that cabinet is superb!

and on leaving look what I saw...

this most Beautiful European garden filled with antique pots and wrought iron gates imported from the owners travels overseas...just Breathtaking is it not? Ahh... a slice of French Paradise in Spring Hill...Loving it!!! Have a Wonderful Day xx

HAPPY TUESDAY!

With Easter all but officially over I now declare it clean up time...after I eat my final piece of fruit bread with jam that is! {I do think I'll keep this tradition going a bit longer though!} Anyway a little bit of normality wouldn't go astray...although after consuming a truck load of chocolate I somehow think the children will disagree with me... Got to Love them ! Hope you all had a Beautiful Easter break see you tomorrow xx

AN EASTER TRADITION HAS BEEN BORN!

What can I say...I'm slowly warming to the idea of an Easter table display...this one is just divine...pretty-n-pink!

This one being ever so sophisticated...

this I threw in for sheer delight...check that TREE!!!

This one being gorgeous in all it's soft pastel colours...I might just need one of those white ceramic bunnies...or two!

Now which style to choose? I love them all...One things for certain though I think I may have just started another family tradition with the decorating of the Easter table...never thought I'd succumb but with so much beauty out there and the fact that Bed Bath-n- Table have half price decorations [that's right ladies half price...don't walk run!] I think I was sold!
